Cinnamon Cider Cooler
Are you feeling inspired by the cooling temps this winter? With the holiday festivities approaching, impress your friends and family with the Kimo Sabe inspired cinnamon cider cooler. Traditionally, the cinnamon cider cooler is made with a whiskey or a brandy spirit, but we know they will enjoy this mezcal twist even more! Replace the traditional spirit with the Kimo Sabe Reposado: Rubedo and benefit from the hints of roasted almond, Madagascar vanilla, and Christmas spice.
Ready to make one? Try our recipe below and upgrade your holidays with a mezcal cinnamon cider cooler:
Here’s what you’ll need:
• 1.5 ounce Kimo Sabe Reposado
• 0.75 ounces of lemon juice
• 0.5 ounces of honey
• 0.5 ounces of cinnamon schnapps
• 1 tbsp of apricot preserves
• 2 ounces sparkling apple cider
• Your garnish of choice (we suggest a cinnamon stick and an apple slice)
First, add Kimo Sabe Reposado, cinnamon schnapps, apricot preserves, lemon juice, and honey into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain ingredients into a tall glass. Top with sparkling apple cider and garnish with an apple slice and ground cinnamon for that extra special presentation.
Whether whipping this cocktail up for a holiday party or quiet dinner, this cinnamon cider cooler will not disappoint.
