Mezcal Hot Toddy
There is no better way to heat up your holiday than with the perfect hot toddy, and here is one with a twist! Traditionally, hot toddy's are made with whiskey, rum, or brandy spirit, but we think the mezcal twist will spice up your cocktail perfectly. By switching out the traditional spirits and replacing them with the Kimo Sabe Joven: Albedo in our take on a hot toddy, your taste buds will sing with a hint of semi-sweet chocolate and citrus.
Ready to make one? Try our recipe below and upgrade your holidays with a mezcal hot toddy:
Here’s what you’ll need:
• 1.5 ounce Kimo Sabe Joven
• 0.5 ounces of lemon juice
• 0.5 ounces of honey
• 3.0 ounces hot black tea
• Your garnish of choice (we suggest a cinnamon stick or lemon wedge)
Combine honey and hot black tea in a mug or serving glass, stir until dissolved. Add mezcal and lemon juice soon after and stir. Garnish your glass with a lemon wedge or cinnamon stick to finish. Enjoy!
Whether you prefer your Kimo Sabe Mezcal warm or cold, the holidays are the perfect time to experiment, get out of your cocktail rut, and impress your guests. Cheers!
